Certificate of Attendance
All students receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course, which indicates the type and period of the course followed and number of lessons attended.
Certificate of Knowledge and Final Exam
Upon request, students can take an exam at the end of the course. A certificate is subsequently issued documenting the period of the course attended, the number of lessons followed and the level reached, according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
“Firenze” Italian Language Diploma, issued by the Accademia Italiana di Lingua (AIL) (Italian Academy of Language)
The Leonardo da Vinci School is the Examination Centre for the Accademia Italiana di Lingua (AIL) and the School organises preparatory courses for the Academy’s exams, entitled “Firenze”. AIL is a no-profit organisation made up of schools, institutions and experts working in the field of teaching Italian as a foreign language.
Exams are held four times a year in pre-established dates, both in centres in Italy and abroad.

Ditals Diploma, Levels 1 and 2
Thanks to a convention with the University of Foreigners in Siena, the Leonardo da Vinci School in Florence is the examination centre for the diplomas entitled Ditals 1 and Ditals 2 (Certification of Competence in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language).
