STUDENT ASSOCIATIONS

The student associations of Milan help other students like you, to meet and organize free time activities together. International Week creates weekly events to allow university students, tourists and young professionals to meet and to get to know each other. It organises authentic, cosmopolitan events with food and drink from different countries, music and exhibitions, shows and movies.

It is a way to get to know more about the different cultures present in the city and see how they merge, whilst also remaining authentic: in addition to themed evenings, there are also trips, sport competitions and special nights held in European capitals to celebrate New Year’s Eve or other public holidays.

Moreover, you will have the chance to compare yourself to, and learn from, other students during the Model United Nations – a student-run academic simulation of international diplomacy. You will understand how the United Nations work, practicing the art of diplomacy and compromise and maybe being one of the 150 students selected to participate in the MUN in New York!

Another student association is the Summer school, an institution promoting summer events in cooperation with the city of Milan. Every summer, from June to September, more than 30 schools, academies and universities offer international students the opportunity to get involved in the industries that which have Milan famous across the world: fashion, design, theater, dance, cinema, communication and management.

You will participate in master classes and workshops where you will be able to deepen and perfect your knowledge or simply try these disciplines for the first time, receiving advice and guidance. http://www.facebook.com/milanosummerschool
