When the Italian language is not only a passion but also a profession, linguistic training alone is not enough and it is important to have an excellent command of the teaching profession too, by having refined teaching techniques, studying in depth the dynamics of learning a language and to be continually updated in the developments of teaching Italian as a foreign or second language.
Since 1998, the Leonardo da Vinci School in Florence has organised teacher training courses for Italian levels L2/LS and since 2001, it has had an official agreement with the University for Foreigners of Siena so that the School is also the examination centre for the DITALS exams (Certificate of Teaching Italian as a foreign language). As such, we also offer a course dedicated to this exam. Our preparation course is accredited by the University of Siena and provides the requirements to be able to take the first level Ditals exam and the language teaching training that is obligatory to be admitted for the second level Ditals.
Throughout the course, trained teachers with much experience in teaching L2 level Italian, will be on hand to update you on the latest didactic methods as well as to share the "tricks of the trade" with you.
